Position:
Northeast Natural Energy, a growing natural gas exploration and production company, is seeking a Financial Analyst for its Morgantown, WV office.
Responsibilities:
Develop and analyze monthly, quarterly, annual and multiyear financial forecasts, considering various scenarios and sensitivity analyses, and analysis of results for use in making investment decisions and allocation of capital. Prepare and maintain cash flow forecasts and work with other members of the accounting and finance team to develop and monitor the forecasts versus actual results. Develop financial and other models to support strategic initiatives of the company including monitoring of projected liquidity, compliance with financial and other covenants, etc. Work closely with operations, accounting, marketing, and management to ensure model inputs are up to date and accurately modeled. Review of historical and proposed transactions to determine the impact on projected results of operations, cash flow and liquidity. Other duties and responsibilities that may be assigned. Job
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance with CPA designation or MBA. Three plus years' financial analyst, investment banking, accounting, or finance experience. Exceptional skills in Microsoft Excel, Access, and PowerPoint. Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills. Ability to think creatively, prioritize tasks and meet deadlines. Ability to work individually or as part of a team in a fast paced, dynamic environment. Strong knowledge of financial reporting and presentation requirements and generally accepted accounting principles.Other Requirements:
Social perceptiveness and ability to manage time efficiently. Ability to comprehend and communicate orally and through written communications. Aptitude for advanced deductive reasoning and speaking in public. Hearing and eyesight ability within normal parameters, dexterity, flexibility, and ability to lift up to 25 pounds. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
