Summary:
Join us as a Park & Grounds Attendant at Mylan Park, where you'll play a pivotal role in cultivating the beauty and functionality of our park grounds and athletic facilities.
This vital position involves various outdoor maintenance tasks to create a safe, pristine, and inviting environment for the community and visitors.
This is a Seasonal position of 30-40 per week.
Core
Responsibilities:
Grounds Care:
Engage in comprehensive maintenance of the park's landscapes, including mowing, trimming, edging, mulching, and more.
Athletic Field Preparation:
Prepare and maintain athletic fields to professional standards, ensuring they are game-ready for community and competitive events.
Event Support:
Play a key role in the setup and breakdown of park events, handling logistics efficiently to facilitate seamless experiences for participants and spectators.
Customer Service Excellence:
Deliver outstanding service by warmly greeting guests, responding to inquiries, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere throughout the park.
Facility Upkeep:
Keep facilities, including restrooms, in immaculate condition; diligently manage waste and recycling processes.
Safety and Security:
Monitor Park facilities to ensure they are secure and safe, responding effectively to emergencies and routine checks.
Minimum Requirements:
Education:
A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
Experience:
Prior experience in facilities management or maintenance roles is advantageous.
Skills:
Proficient in operating a range of maintenance equipment.
Excellent communication abilities with strong adherence to safety and operational instructions.
Physical Requirements:
Can lift up to 50 pounds and handle physically demanding tasks across various conditions.
License:
A valid driver's license is required, with dependable transportation.

Responsibilities span across indoor and outdoor settings within Mylan Park, including key community centers and athletic complexes.
Conditions:
Be prepared to work in diverse weather conditions, performing tasks that require mobility and physical stamina.
