Structural Welder / Millwright - $23.50 + $80/day + 84 hrs/wk
Combination Structural Welders / Millwrights with at least 5 years recent experience needed for industrial work in the Union Bridge, MD area. Duties will include (but not limited to) setting new equipment & rigging/hoisting existing for relocation; basic alignment - assembly & disassembly of various machinery & conveyors; install & replace mild steel plate for existing above ground pressure vessels & refractory kilns; plate ranges in thickness from 3/8 - 1.5 & welded SMAW process by using 7018 & 7011 rods; the majority of welds are performed ground level, but also from erected scaffolding up to heights in excess of 15' & can be out of position welds.
A visual plate coupon in the 5g position will be administered upon arrival.
